CHANGES TO PAYMENT OPTIONS – CHEQUES

Dear valued customers,

 

To align with the Australian Government’s ongoing efforts to modernise the payments infrastructure and recent changes from the National Australia Bank, effective from 30 September 2024 Southern Cross Supplies will no longer accept cheques as a preferred payment option.

 

We encourage customers to make payments via the following options:

  • Electronic Fund Transfer into the nominated bank account located on all invoices
  • Credit Card Payments
    • No surcharge on Visa & Mastercard
    • Surcharge applicable on AMEX

Please contact the office if you wish to set up auto payment on your credit card

 

In the event that the above payment options are not feasible, and a cheque has to be used for the payment of an invoice, an additional surcharge of $5 per cheque must be added onto the cheque for processing to cover the surcharge imposed by the National Australia Bank.

 

Thank you for your understanding and we encourage you to look into the above alternative payment options as soon as possible to avoid the additional surcharge.
